Environmental, H & S PolicyEnvironmental Policy Statement SPS policy is to conduct its business responsibly, and in a manner designed to protect the health and safety of its employees, it's customers and the public. It also seeks to minimize the impact of its activities on the environment through continuous improvement. SPS as a matter of policy; *Routinely review operations to make environment, health and safety improvements beyond those legally required where such improvements provide significant environment, health and safety benefits at reasonable cost. *Determine that each product sold by the company can be made, handled, used and disposed of safely and in a manner which does not present an unacceptable risk to human health and safety to the environment. *Establish and present responsible and consistent positions to government and the public on environment, health and safety matters affecting SPS products and operations. *Encourage the full co-operation of all SPS ’s employees in achieving good standards of environment, health and safety protection. *Develop an annual plan which highlights key tasks for the organization. This policy will be regularly reviewed and revised as necessary. Health and Safety Policy Statement SPS seeks to maintain a high standard of health and safety for all employees, customers and the general public. It is SPS policy to promote continuous improvement in the health, safety and welfare of its employees insofar as is reasonably practicable, by; *The provision and maintenance of plant, systems and working environments that is safe, without risks to health and adequate with regard to facilities and arrangements for the welfare of employees at work. *Making arrangements for ensuring safety and absence of risk to health in connection with the use, handling, storage and transport of equipment and materials. *The provision of the appropriate information, instruction, training and competent supervision. *The internal publication of performance measures. *The conduct of operations in such a way as to ensure that the surrounding population and visitors to the site are not exposed to health or safety risks. *Ensuring joint consultation with employees in the achievement of the aims of this policy. *Contributing to the formation of and observing all relevant codes of practice. *Monitoring the effectiveness of such an overall policy through the EHS committee. *Developing an annual plan which highlights key tasks for the organization, and *Auditing systems to maintain high standards of compliance. This policy will be regularly reviewed and revised as necessary.
